ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

First Nation Peoples are acknowledged – the Traditional Owners of the lands where we live and work, and their continuing connection to land, water and community is recognised. Respect is paid to Elders – past, present and emerging – and they are acknowledged for the important role Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people continue to play, and have played within the research informing submission.

PURPOSE

This site's purpose for being is to enable Sturt's Community of Ownership & Interest (COI) to engage and have their independent VOICES heard. People belong to this CYBERplace but it belongs to nobody albeit that it is facilitated rhizomatically by a network of networks. We live within a new MINDset in the 21st C and the presumed norms of the status quo are redundant.

When thinking about  COImembership anyone, that is ANYone, can claim a 'cognative' ownership of a place or in interest in it. One layer of ownership, say STURTfriends. .. STURTalumni etc., DOES NOT rank above or below any other layer. It is what it is NOifs NObuts! It is a democratic and expansive concept.

The things that we must have right now we must buy.

That which we desire we should make and treasure.

Homes are made not bought.

What we make are the most durable!

New playing field! 

New rules of engagement!
